Dear Maurice
Your boy Scrappy and I are missing you loads, but we are coping and moving on together, which we hope is what you would have wanted. I still can't finish a phone call without Scrappy getting excited, thinking that it's Granddad I've been talking to and that it's time for him to go home. I will do everything in my power to make your boy happy, and to make my home his home, until it is his time to join you.
Much Love
Chris & Scrappy

I am I and you are you, whatever we were to each other that we still are.
Speak to me in the easy way which you always used.
Why should I be out of mind because I am out of sight?
Life means all that it ever meant, it is the same as it ever was.
